The Stoja electric tourist train consists of a towing vehicle and two or three trailers. Its maximum speed is 25km/h. The maximum incline it can overcome is 15%. Its autonomy is 100km. The train is intended for driving on the city streets and is homologated and registered.

 

Towing vehicle

The towing vehicle consists of an undercarriage and superstructure. The drive is electric, using a water cooled three-phase electric motor of the type ZPM 112L4 and a frequency converter of the type FRA40. The engine drives the rear axle through a reduction gear and a cardan. There are driver and co-driver seats in the towing vehicle.

 

Trailer

The base for the trailer is a self-supporting chassis on which steering axles with hydraulic brakes are fitted. The steering is controlled by the drawbar that is hooked on to the towing vehicle or the preceding trailer. Both axes steer and are connected via a rod. The dimensions of the tires are 195/50/R13.

The trailer is closed of with glass. Side windows open up to half. The entrance door is 800mm wide and electricly powered. Brakes are two-circular pneumatic and two-system (pneumatic-hydraulic). The trailer is designed in such a way that it follows the towing vehicle in the same trail.

The superstructure is made of sandwich panels with a thickness of 30mm. The panel is made out of polyester outer layer and a polyurethane foam filler. All glass is tempered and stamped with a homologation mark. Heating is provided by the heater via warm air. Airing is provided through the windows that open in the vertical direction.

The trailers are not interchangeable among themselves, as the rear most trailer has signal lighting on it.

There are two types of the tourist train in the production program.
