ZPM 112M4 (ZPM 112L4)

ZPM 112M4 (ZPM 112L4) is an asynchronous three-phase motor for propulsion of vehicles and vessels. The motor must be driven through an appropriate frequency converter, which operates according to one of the vector schemes.

There is a flange on the front of the motor for the fastening of the motor.

The engine is protected against overtemperature. The sensor KTY84 / 130 is used.
The engine contains two sensors that are connected in series. The wires lead to the rear of the engine where the mounting point for the incremental encoder is. The total resistance of the two sonsors is 1100Ω at a temperature of 20ºC. And 3300 Ω at 200ºC.

Temperature protection is mandatory and must work to ensure the inverters safety power off.
